Meet The Team

Gary founded Reflex Print over 26 years ago and has worked in the print industry since his teenage years. From running machines to leading the team, his knowledge of print is second to none. These days, Gary focuses on business development and bringing in new ideas, like Reflex’s latest textured printing technology.

Outside the office, he’s rarely still – you’ll find him playing bass guitar in a local covers band, watching live music or continuously learning and developing his skills and knowledge. His biggest love is spending time with his three grandchildren. Gary’s the kind of person who’ll spot a printing error on a menu before ordering – but he’ll still enjoy a good pie and pint while he’s out.

Syd has been part of Reflex since day one in 1999 and still brings the same energy to print today. As a partnering director, he’s hands-on with printing, finishing, and large format work, and thrives on the variety each day brings. In his spare time, Syd loves cooking, watching Game of Thrones, and listening to U2. He’s also a Derby County fan and fun fact: he shares a birthday with Liam Gallagher. A true rock ‘n’ roller in print.

Rose is the heart of Reflex’s finance department, having supported the business for over a decade. Calm, caring and detail-driven, she handles the accounts with precision while making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

She loves spending time with her grandchildren and has a great sense of humour — often referring to herself as ‘Silly Nanna’. In her downtime, you’ll find her enjoying a cup of fennel tea, watching a bit of tennis, or dreaming of sunnier climates and relaxed days by the sea.

Ben has been a key part of Reflex Print for 7 years and now heads up the studio as Studio Manager. He oversees day-to-day design workflow, processes orders, supports the creative team, and ensures every job runs smoothly from quote to completion. With a sharp eye for detail and a calm, people-first approach, Ben’s known for keeping projects on track – no matter how busy the day gets.

He’s also part machine – thanks to his hybrid closed-loop diabetes therapy – and proud of it! Away from work, Ben enjoys gaming, theatre trips, and the occasional karaoke session (Cher power ballads only). He’s a fan of Criminal Minds, YO! Sushi tacos, and he’s also a self-proclaimed good dancer (jury’s out).

Paul is the complete all rounder at Reflex. From developing marketing campaigns and managing the website to helping out with embroidery, deliveries, and finishing, Paul brings energy and creativity to every task. He’s been with Reflex for over 7 years and especially enjoys seeing high-quality work leave the building.

Outside of work, Paul loves spending time with his wife, watching his son Theo play football, going on days out with friends, or going to the gym. He’s also a passionate football fan (Manchester United through and through). Paul also once climbed 24 Lake District peaks in 24 hours for charity.

Gill has been with Reflex since day one and has over 30 years experience in the print industry, bringing decades of hands-on finishing experience to every job. Whether it’s trimming, laminating, binding or packing, she makes sure each order leaves the building just right. Known for her quiet consistency and early starts, Gill is a valued part of the team. When she’s not at Reflex, she’s likely spending time with her grandkids, watching a chick flick, enjoying a pizza, or singing along to the Backstreet Boys.

Jordan joined Reflex 3 years ago and works on both preparing artwork and pressing designs onto clothing. Quiet, focused and dependable, he plays a key part in making sure every garment is finished to a high standard.

Outside of work, Jordan is a night owl who enjoys winding down with a slice of pizza and an episode of Doctor Who.

Alice has been a valued member of the Reflex studio for just over a year. She spends her days designing and proofing artwork, supporting customers with enquiries, and making sure each order is ready to go. Creative and efficient, she thrives on attention to detail.

When she’s not designing, Alice enjoys drawing, gaming, reading, and heading to London to see West End musicals. She’s a big fan of Criminal Minds, loves Earl Grey tea (without milk), and dreams of one day visiting New York to catch a show on Broadway. Liverpool FC has her football loyalty, and Green Day tops her playlist.
